Bio
I’m a stage director specialising in musicals, opera, theatre and writing.
My journey began with music and football as a boy, evolved into hitch-hiking, working and sailing across the globe as a young man, and eventually I found theatre.
I graduated from the directing programme at the Danish National School of Performing Arts in 2003, and from 2005 I served as Artistic Director of the ensemble and repertoire theatre Mungo Park on the outskirts of Copenhagen.
Over twelve years I had the privilege of leading one of Scandinavia’s most vibrant groups of emerging artists, creating bold, music-rich theatre.
Since 2017 I’ve shifted focus to developing large-scale theatre, musicals and opera both in Denmark and internationally. Three of my productions have received the Danish Reumert Award for excellence.
I live in Copenhagen with my wife and four children.
